The e T.E.A.M meeting!

The big day had arrived. It was the 6th of March and the students from Louros school and Nazaré finally got to meet their friends in Ribeira Brava. The students from Bica de Pau and their Teacher Teresa received us with "welcome hands". The topic for our e-T.E.A.M meeting was the: "Easter Bunny Games". To start off the day the students had to find their secret friend and hand over their egg identification cards.

The students showed their beautiful hats during the "Easter Bonnet Parade".

Here you see the 3 schools participating in the "Egg Race" and the "Egg Hunt".

Now, it was time for our snack. We got to taste the traditional "Hot Cross Buns." These buns are served throughout Easter. The icing cross on top is to remind people of Christ. Street vendors in Great Britain used to sing a song when they went around selling their Hot Cross Buns. This song is now a favourite nursery rhyme for children.

The students formed two lines in pairs to sing and dance the "Easter Bunny Dance". We looked like real bunnies...

The day had come to and end! It was time to say farewell.

Gifts exchanged by the 3 schools to remember this special day.
